 Beach Volleyball Training

Nona Sports is offering beach volleyball training.  Prior volleyball experience required.  The training is offered to students from 6th to 12 grade.  The volleyball training will be tailored for each group to learn and/or enhance: 

  • Bumping

  • Spiking

  • Bump + Hand Setting

  • Blocking

  • Receiving

  • Defense

  • Offense

  • Game Strategy​

  • Serve, Receive

  • Serving

  • Conditioning

 When? - Tuesdays, Fridays and/or Saturdays

The training is scheduled for Tuesdays (4:30 to 6:00pm), and either Friday (4:00pm to 6:00pm) or Saturday (7:30am to 9:30am).  If a training session is cancel by Nona Beach, there will be a make up day on the day and time specified.

Where? @Nona Beach

  • The training takes place at the East Lake Park Sand Volleyball Court (Also know as Nona Beach)

    • Please park on the available westbound parallel parking, adjacent to the Lake.

  • The best way to find the location is by putting the following address on your GPS:  10199 Lake District Ln, Orlando, FL 32832

What to bring?

  • Dri-Fit Shirt and Pants (Highly Recommended)

  • Hand Sanitizer

  • Towel

  • Potable Water or Sport Drink

  • A gallon of water to rinse off the sand after training is done

  • Light Snack (Fruit or Protein Bar)

  • Face Mask

  • Sunglasses

  • A good attitude to learn and have fun

How to get started?

  1. Submit the following beginners online registration . (1st come, 1st serve)

  2. After submitting the online registration form, participation fee must be submitted via Zelle to Nona Beach LLC (407-234-0323).

Participation Fee

  • $250/player/month

    • Due on the 1st day of every month.

  • $50 Drop-in rate per day​

 Are we following the Department of Health Advisory?

Yes, we are.  The training is in accordance with the Florida Department of Health Public Advisory (FDHPA).

  • Training is held outdoors.  (Avoiding closed spaces in accordance with FDHPA)

  • Most, if not all, volleyball skills and techniques are performed by the players at least 6 feet apart.  (Avoiding close contact between people and practicing social distancing in accordance with FDHPA)

  • Training equipment is cleaned and sanitized.

  • Players are required to hand sanitize their hands prior to start with the Beach Volleyball Training

  • Players suffering from any Covid-19 symptoms are not allowed to participate.
